Discounted Parts
We are always trying to keep costs down for our customers, particularly when it comes to parts for their Land Cruisers, which is why we are now offering an increasing range of discounted parts for us to fint in the workshop as well as supplying the parts direct to customers wanting to work on their Land Cruisers themselves.
New Genuine Toyota Parts
Unfortunately the dealer network in the UK have been crippled by Toyota's pricing policy so we now import most major parts from suppliers abroad achieving discounts of between 10-60% over UK dealer prices. Over a major rebuild or preparation project this can save you a considerable amount.
Bearings
In most cases Toyota use Koyo or Timken bearings, charging up to ten times the price for what is essentially the same bearing, but in a Toyota box. We are able to supply the same Koyo and Timken bearings as used by Toyota for wheel bearings, carrier bearings, pinion bearings, etc at the same prices as cheap copy bearings
Non Genuine Parts
Working on Land Cruisers that are used in some pretty harsh environments it hasn't taken us long to realise that most non genuine parts just aren't up to the rigours of overlanding or severe off-roading and can often lead to expensive rebuilds completely outweighing any savings.
Having said that there are some cases where we find that some of the non genuine parts available are either the same quality or better than genuine Toyota items (e.g. EBC Brake Pads), or represent good value for money (i.e. they are as good as Toyota, don't last as long, but when you work out the cost per mile are better value).
Second Hand Parts
If you are working to a budget or are after non critical parts, one of the cheapest options is to go for second hand parts. We are breaking Land Cruisers on a regular basis and are able to provide most parts either directly off the vehicle or cleaned up and reconditioned in our workshops to ensure they last.
We are carrying increasing stocks of most parts, but if we don't have what you need on the shelf we can always add it to our next order.
